Terms of Service

Welcome to FortForge, a community-driven platform for sharing and discovering resources for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). By accessing or using FortForge ("the Platform," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use FortForge. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By creating an account or using FortForge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (which explains how we handle your data).

To access certain features, you may need to register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your password secure and confidential.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are inactive for extended periods.

Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload to FortForge ("User Content"). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to FortForge.

License Grant to FortForge

By uploading User Content to FortForge, you grant FortForge a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

• Host, store, cache, reproduce, display, distribute, and make available your User Content through the Platform.
• Modify or adapt your content solely for technical, compatibility, moderation, or display purposes.
• Use your content for platform promotion, including previews, thumbnails, and metadata.
• Enforce the licensing terms associated with your User Content, including taking action against unauthorized use, redistribution, mirroring, or copying.

This license survives deletion of content or termination of your account to the extent necessary for enforcement, legal compliance, backups, or resolution of disputes.

Authorization to Enforce Rights

By uploading User Content, you explicitly authorize FortForge to act as your agent for the purposes of protecting and enforcing your rights. This includes issuing takedown notices (such as DMCA or UK copyright notices), sending cease and desist communications, requesting removal of infringing copies from third-party platforms, and taking other reasonable legal or technical measures.

FortForge may take such actions at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content and you confirm that:

• You own the content or have full legal rights and permissions to upload it.
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights.
• The content complies with all applicable laws and platform rules.
• The content does not contain malware, exploits, scams, or harmful material.

FortForge reserves the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to use FortForge to:

• Upload or distribute infringing, illegal, or harmful content.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation.
• Spam, phish, or distribute malware.
• Circumvent security measures or disrupt the Platform.
• Engage in any unlawful, deceptive, or abusive behavior.

FortForge maybut is not obligated tomonitor or moderate User Content. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or restrict content at our discretion.
• Suspend or terminate users who violate these Terms.
• Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your work has been uploaded to FortForge without permission, please send a takedown notice including:

• Your name and contact information
• The infringing content's URL
• A statement that you are the rights holder (or authorized agent)

We will review and, if appropriate, remove or restrict access in accordance with applicable copyright law (e.g., DMCA or UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).

Your use of FortForge is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices described there.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." FortForge makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Continuous, secure, or error-free access
• Accuracy or reliability of results or content
• Correction of errors or defects
• Legality, safety, or quality of user-generated content

Use the Platform at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FortForge and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any user content or conduct of others
• Unauthorized access or alteration of your data

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so portions may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FortForge, its affiliates, partners, and contributors from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Platform,
• Your User Content, or
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, you lose access to your account and content. We may retain limited data as legally required.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may notify you via the Platform or email. Your continued use after changes are posted means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Scotland.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FortForge regarding your use of the Platform.
